Renault buy back (Renault leasing) in Europe. Procedures to observe

DELIVERY

 

Date and place of pick-up:

Pick-up takes place at the date and place mentioned on the Order Form. You will received prior your departure a travel booklet instructions. It is important to read it carefully, all the information you need to pick-up or return the vehicle are indicated in particular:

-       The hours;

-       The pick-up/drop-off addresses;

-       The access maps;

-       The appointment obligations.

 

Documents required in all pick-up centres:

For pick-up the vehicle you must come with the following documents:

1)     Your passport;

2)     The Renault Eurodrive Order Form;

3)     A proxy, if the vehicle is taken away by a third party, benefiting from the same Renault Eurodrive plan. For this case, only the spouse, direct ascendants and descendants can take away the vehicle and drive it, providing documents justifying their link with the beneficiary and the proof they can beneficiate from the Renault Eurodrive plan. 

 

Important: the driver must be aged at least 18 and must hold a driving license in force for more than one year, valid in the country where the vehicle is to be driven.

 

The pick-up procedure:

·         On arrival by plane or by train (arrival time indicated on the Order Form). We will wait for you for a maximum of 1 hour after your effective arrival time.

·         By appointment (walk-in) we will wait for you for a maximum of 30 minutes after the agreed time. In case of delay, you will have to inform the pick-up centre.

 

Important. You must notify the pick-up centre if there is a change in you train or plane during the journey or a change in the appointment time.

 

At the delivery of your vehicle you will received the following documents:

-       The vehicle’s registration document (carte grise);

-       The insurance certificate;

-       An insurance/assistance booklet;

-       An European accident report form with an explanatory document;

-       A warranty booklet, a vehicle user’s manual and basic instructions;

-       2 keys or cards.

 

 

DROP-OFF

 

The return will be done by an appointment confirmed by you to the centre, 3 working days before the planned return date. All information necessary will be communicated to you on this occasion. You will be awaited for a maximum of 30 minutes beyond the agreed time. In the event of change of hour of appointment or delay, you will have to inform the drop-off centre.

 

You must hand over the documents you received at the delivery:

-       The car registration certificate;

-       The insurance certificate;

-       The warranty booklet and user’s manual;

-       The accident report or police statement if not transmitted during use;

-       The 2 sets of keys or the 2 Renault cards with integral key.

 

You will be given a discharge of liability justifying the effective return of the vehicle.

 

Important. Renault Eurodrive disclaims all liability if personal belongings are left in the returned vehicle.

You will be invoiced for any items missing when the vehicle is returned (above documents, keys/cards and vehicle equipment) and for any costs caused by abandonment of the vehicle. Shall be considered as being abandoned any vehicle not handed over directly to the Renault Eurodrive service provider or in a place other than the authorized centre
