Car rental in Europe, in Canada and in US

 

Insurance: the warranties of all ours privileged partners, the majors providers of car rental, vary according to the regulations in force in each country.

Important: before you leave, Renault Canada recommends that you properly check your credit card insurance and warranty coverage (generally Gold or Platinum), to choose the type of contract that will allow you to travel in complete tranquility.

     1 - The "Inclusive" contract, commonly called "with insurance".

This contract includes legal liability, collision damages (CDW) and theft (THW) insurance.

    2 - The "Basic" contract, called "without insurance".

This contract only includes legal liability insurance. The other collision damages (CDW) and theft (THW) insurances must then be covered by your own credit card.

These contracts usually include a deductible, of which, the amount varies according to the country of delivery and to the category of the rented car.

Additional insurance covering the partial or total buyback of the deductibles, and other warranties such as fire, broken glass (WWI), luggage and personal effects (SPAI) ... may be bought upon delivery and may be necessary in order to lift some geographical restrictions that may apply to some car categories and countries that you visit.

Warning: transported persons insurance (PAI).
This optional coverage is offered in most delivery centers. Renault Canada recommends that you buy it. This coverage is particularly recommended for the driver, who is not covered as a third party in the event of an accident that he may have caused.
