Car rental in Europe, Canada, US - About the assistance

Throughout the term of your rental, you benefit, with no extra charge (*), from road call and assistance service related to the use of the vehicle. These services are available 24/7.

To benefit from the warranties of this service, you must contact them first. If you take initiatives or incur expenses, no refund may be made to you without prior agreement. The only exception is for road call or towing fees in case of a highway breakdown.

This service can be of invaluable help in case of trouble:
     - breakdown, 
     - accident,
     - attempted theft or robbery, …
The assistance will cover, according to the circumstances:
     - road call and towing of the vehicle if it cannot be repaired on the spot,
     - vehicle replacement,
     - transfer to the agency delivering the replacement vehicle.
Medical assistance to persons:
In the event of personal injury, the assistance will provide one or several of the following services:
     - transfer of the wounded people to the hospitalization location, according to their medical needs and the decisions made by the service’s doctors, 
     - repatriation of deceased persons.

Renault Canada reminds you not to forget your travel insurance. The benefits of this “Medical assistance to persons” is only a complement to your own travel insurance.

(*) The following are excluded from the warranty: repairs due to customers using the wrong fuel, replacement of the rented vehicle keys due to their loss or breakage, as well as tire punctures and/or deterioration.
